This Should Be Good

From Abe Louise Young, poet and journalist (you may have read her recent article in The Nation about prison labor and the Gulf oil spill):

“Tomorrow, the white man who plagiarized the oral histories of african-american katrina survivors–publishing them as his own poems–will be exposed. he took the testimonies from alive in truth, the volunteer oral history/relief project i started & ran from 05-07. discovering this book in 2009 caused immense grief and rage for the survivors and for me. my article will appear alongside a statement from him, tomorrow at www.poetryfoundation.org. if you have time, please join the comments conversation.”

Please check out the conversation as it should be a good one.
